The ancient Greeks are in the know...
"Unarmed - 25th Anniversary Best Of" has now been released (order here) and was already signed by the band itself during instore sets and signings!

"Top 40" has always been a synonym for hits - how could "Unarmed" chart anywhere but in the "top 40" in Germany. Our pumpkins entered the German charts at # 39.
Spirits are also high in Greece where Helloween hit the charts at # 4! The EU wants to help Greece - that does not seem to be necessary at all when it comes to their taste in music...
Otherwise, the release week was all about numerous activities in the band's home country: In addition to various instores, Helloween played the biggest 'Wohnzimmerkonzert' (living room gig) ever - in an IKEA store in Berlin! A witty idea of Berlin's rock radio station "Star FM", who put the band into focus superlatively during the event.
Another highlight was the winner showcase in the Berlin showroom of Gibson Guitars. In cooperation with the Metal Hammer Helloween played a gig in a tasteful atmosphere and were even handed a birthday cake afterwards!
During the "aftershow bash" in the Partybus (a rolling music bar with dance floor, bar and seating units), said cake ended up in the face of at least one of the band members and while the bus fought its way through the snow flurry on the streets of Berlin, a quarter of a century of Helloween was cause for many a toast until the early hours of the morning. Footage will follow shortly via these channels!
